Our History
2020
Spatialise was founded by Souf and Niels during their studies at Wageningen University, driven by a vision to revolutionize soil health monitoring through geospatial intelligence and AI.
2021
Selected for the globally acknowledged StartLife program to propel their soil health monitoring technology forward. Nikolaj joined the team to spearhead the development of AI capabilities, taking the platform to new heights.
2022
Prototyped the Soil Health Monitor with the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH (GIZ) in Kenya and India to further enhance their AI-powered soil health monitoring solutions, validating their innovative approach on a global stage.
2023
Achieved an impressive 85%+ accuracy in predicting soil organic carbon using cutting-edge AI and satellite data. Greg joined the team to develop a fully automated, end-to-end solution, making soil health insights more accessible than ever.
2024
Awarded a grant from the European Space Agency (ESA) and secured €350,000 in funding from UNIIQ to accelerate the growth of their AI-driven platform. To steer the company towards greater success, the experienced Frank came on board as CEO, ready to guide Spatialise during the growth phase.
